This is an article about lost wages from the Atlanta Personal Injury Lawyer which has been updated from a previous article. You will find that information at the bottom of the page. Do you get money for missed work or lost wages because of accident in Griffin? This is one of the questions you will have if you have been seriously hurt in a car accident, slip and fall, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, or other type of personal injury case. The slant of this article will be about the city of Griffin, Georgia, but the information will be similar to other cities and towns in Georgia and lost wages because of car accidents. By the way, the answer is yes if you can prove it.

How do you prove you could not work and you lost wages?

Think of the person who believes you the least. What would they want to see? Perhaps, a letter from the doctor recommending you not to work? That sounds good. Even that skeptical person would tend to start believing you. And trust me, the insurance handler will be very skeptical.

Our law firm will help you obtain a lost wage verification form from your employer here in Griffin or where ever your work is. This proves that you didn’t work the days the doctor said you shouldn’t. Also, the wage verification will indicate your salary and number of hours worked. This will be important to maximize your compensation in the settlement.

But what does that have to do with my personal injury lawsuit? Just substitute that skeptical person with the insurance company and you have it. As your Georgia personal injury lawyer having a doctor’s letter and wage verification form is work exactly the amount of work you missed.

Proving your lost wages due to your injury has an added benefit. It shows you were hurt in the Griffin accident. It shows that you responded to this accident like someone who was hurt. It adds to your credibility to have the above-information before requesting compensation for lost earnings from missing work when negotiating with the insurance company.

Proving how much money you lost from an accident is but one of the many steps needed to get the proper compensation for your injuries. Hire a qualified attorney. Call me right now at 770-775-0938 for your Griffin auto accident attorney.

Welcome to the Atlanta Car Accident Attorney webpage about head-on accidents. This is a post from the legal department:

Recent News: One Way Accident Causes Death in Dekalb County Involving Doraville Police Officer.

Person killed in one way crash turns out to be a police officer off of Wesley Chapel Road. The accident involved a Doraville police officer in the west bound lanes in Dekalb County. Dekalb County says the individual died at the scene of the accident. The names have not been released. No word on whether or not alcohol was involved in the wreck, as it is early in the investigation. Hopefully, this was not an issue and just an issue of …not really sure. Our prayers go out the to victim and victim’s family at this time.

Head on accidents are some of the most dangerous types of collisions. The good news is that head-on collisions are generally quite rare. It is more common to be hit from the side or from the rear and to be hit head on. However, when these accidents do occur the injuries are sustained can be quite severe it comes down to the physics behind the collision of the two automobiles. If you think about a pool ball hitting a pool ball that is not motion versus two balls hitting each other straight on the impact is quite different.

If you’ve been involved in a head-on accident. Someone was clearly negligent there is no way that you can have a head-on accident and there not be some sort of mistake that has occurred either someone is attempting to pass in the zone not meant for passing or they’re going down a one-way street. Often times, and the news will hear about someone entering an exit ramp onto the interstate and going the wrong way down interstate. The reason why this is so dangerous is because the impact will most likely be a head-on impact. Plus the fact that all the cars will start swerving and the other cars at risk for collisions as the lamb personal-injury lawyer my read stories like this in the news it gets my attention.

Next were going to discuss a recent example of a head-on collision and the types of injuries that occurred from that accident. Recently, five people were injured in a Griffin, Georgia car accident in Spalding County, Georgia. The driver of one of the cars swerved into the other lane of traffic, crossing the yellow line, as another car with several passengers came the opposite direction. The accident happened on a bridge, but all cars stayed on road. One of the passengers suffered injuries including a concussion, back injuries, neck injuries, and tail bone injures. Another passenger received whiplash. Another passenger, a young boy, received upper back soreness and tenderness. Another passenger suffered a concussion, and severe neck injuries that will require surgery. All parties went to the hospital for treatment immediately after the car accident. The driver received a citation for crossing the yellow line.

If you have been in a Griffin car accident, Griffin motorcycle accident, tractor trailer accident and need a Griffin personal injury lawyer for all of Spalding County, call our office today. We also represent clients in Atlanta, Macon, Stockbridge, Atlanta, Forsyth, McDonough, Jackson, Monticello and Decatur.
If you have been injured in a car accident, contact our office. The insurance company may want you to think they are going to pay your bills, and will tell you so. But the truth is, they will attempt not pay them. Further, they will get you to close sign away your rights for future treatment and medical costs.

Many times with an injury and almost all times with a serious injury you will miss work. Your income will fall. You will have less money. You might even get fired because you can’t work because of the accident. It could have been from something like a dog bite injury. But more likely you were hurt in a car accident, truck accident or motorcycle accident.

Proving Missed Work Recovery and Lost Wages

How do you prove you could not work? Think of the person who believes you the least. What would they want to see? Perhaps, a letter from the doctor recommending you not to work? That sounds good. Even that skeptical person would tend to start believing you. So, maybe a little more proof could be in order. How about a lost wage verification form from your employer saying that you didn’t work the days the doctor said you shouldn’t. Now that person that never believes you doesn’t have anything to say.

But what does that have to do with my personal injury lawsuit? Just substitute that skeptical person with the insurance company and you have it. As your Georgia personal injury lawyer having a doctor’s letter and wage verification form is work exactly the amount of work you missed and getting that missed work recovery. Your injury lawyer will use a wage verification letter to accomplish this.

Proving your lost wages due to your injury has an added benefit. It shows you were hurt in the accident. It shows that you responded to this accident like someone who was hurt. It adds to your credibility to have the above-information before requesting compensation for lost earnings from missing work when negotiating with the insurance company. Learn more from our Georgia Lawyer by contacting Mr. McClelland today at 770-775-0938.

An accident report has a massive volume of specifics. Such items as the names of the parties together with if tickets had been given are invaluable.

The facts listed in these kinds of reports should be provided in a great demand letter to the insurance company for the settlement of your court case. If you are interested in car crash articles and reviews, then I must advise this document. In this post we have listed 10 car crash articles that we feel are interesting to those who have been in an accident. As a Georgia attorney I see many unique forms of crashes, so this article gives a selection of these kinds of injuries and mishaps.
Dog Bites in Georgia

Because you are here perhaps I said propose a short article about the Georgia automobile accident reports. The cops should make readily available this report to pretty much all parties about three days following the car or truck injury. An accident report includes a super volume of answers. Such type of things as the names of the people together with if citations have been given are invaluable. You must get this report to adequately file a physical injury claim. I understand that many people like to select from a summary of driving accident articles, consequently my firm has gone to remarkable lengths to write remarkable articles simply for you.

You should check them out. In this post we have listed 10 car crash articles that we feel are interesting to those who have been in an accident. Some of the articles are for those people who drive motorcycles and who have been hit on driving their bike. Other articles are more current events related such as car accidents involving particular people. Other topics from this article include how to properly draft a personal injury demand letter. The Georgia Personal Injury Lawyer and Georgia Auto Accident Lawyer has some news. Victory for a client who was wrongfully denied unemployment insurance. The government employer claimed the employee was fired for not following the state policy.
We successfully argued that the state policy in question was never consistently applied. Our research uncovered five or six employees who were not terminated for higher alleged offenses.
Based upon these facts, the earlier decision was overturned and the client will get his back payments and payments into the future.
