Jackson, GA Credit Errors

Jackson, Georgia Consumer Lawyer

Debt collectors must treat you with fairness, truthfulness, dignity and respect in collecting debts. If they do not, then the law gives you a free attorney to sue them and get money damages.

The same applies to issues on your credit report. If a debt collector is reporting negatively to the credit bureaus, then your credit score goes down. This makes life more expensive. Call my office for an appointment to find the errors, and sue to fix them.

If you have a case, then you have a free lawyer with me because I will make them pay me directly. I use the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act or the FDCPA to hold them accountable. I also use the Fair Credit Reporting Act or the FCRA and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or the TCPA to make them pay. Jackson, Georgia consumer lawyer, Joseph P. McClelland, is here to help you today.

What Our Clients Are Saying:4

One of the most surprising things about a car accident lawsuit or case, it that your health insurance may not cover ANY of the bills from your personal injury.  As a Jackson, Georgia personal injury lawyer, I see this all the time in car accident cases.

Why?

Because they assume the other driver’s insurance will cover the medical bills from your personal injuries.  On the chance they do cover your injury bills, you will have a potential lien situation. You might incur imagining bills, chiropractic bills, medication, lost wages, future lost wages, pain and suffering, future pain and suffering, future loss of enjoyment of life, and future medical bills.

Remember: Our Jackson location regularly represents clients that live or work near Monticello, Forsyth, Griffin, Barnesville, Locust Grove, Jenkinsburg, McDonough and Flovilla out of this office. If you can’t travel, then ask us about coming to you.

Recent Car Accident Cases in Jackson, Georgia

We recently had the opportunity to represent two clients from our city of Jackson, Georgia. In this case, a mother and her son were in Griffin volunteering. It was a clear sunny day as they drove back to Jackson on Old Jackson Road. However, out of nowhere came a car from the side.

Impact.

Next thing my clients knew was that they were in the ditch on the side of the road. The car was filling up with smoke and panic was in the air. This was a bad day for these two sweet individuals.

Both clients were significantly injured. From a fear of driving again to shoulder impingement, things were not going in the right direction. The insurance company did not want to pay. We fought them day in and day out for almost two years until we got the result my clients wanted at mediation. I will always remember how thankful they were of the work I did.  I remember them kindly.
